The Nordic seminar on environmentally sustainable public procurement of pharmaceuticals will bring together practitioners and experts in the field on 10.11.2020. The seminar is open to all, please register below.
European union ”Strategic approach to pharmaceuticals in the environment” (COM(2019) 128 final) noted public procurement policy as one measure to support the development of pharmaceuticals intrinsically less harmful for the environment and promote greener manufacturing.
SUDDEN project, Finnish Environment Institute (SYKE), Competence Centre for Innovative and Sustainable Public Procurement (KEINO), and Swedish Knowledge Centre on Pharmaceuticals in the Environment arrange a Nordic seminar to share the best practices of the use environmental criteria for public procurement of pharmaceuticals, identify development needs in the use of the criteria, and discuss how Nordic co-operation could be strengthened to address these needs and to improve the effectiveness of the criteria.
In the seminar, you will hear proceedings from the practitioners and experts from Finland, Sweden, Denmark, and Norway. Seminar is free and open to all interested parties.
